Happy Puppy Spa — Rates, Terms & Conditions
On August 1st, 2015, Happy Puppy Spa celebrated our 10th anniversary caring for our animal friends in Oakland, Piedmont, Emeryville & Berkeley. Based on those years of experience, we are revising our rates, terms & conditions, which will hopefully make things simpler, easier & just as economical for our clients. Please note the following:
Rates: Effective Tuesday, 9/8/15, mid-day dog walks are $15.00/walk; doggie daycare is $25.00/day (be sure to note the new hours of operation); overnight boarding is $35.00/overnight. Dogs that need more than one walk per day will be charged as a daycare client. Multiple dogs in need of care will be charged on a case-by-case basis. Please note that we are no longer charging different fees for small vs. large dogs, or juvenile vs. senior dogs. We have also dropped the local vs. non-local differences in fees, but we reserve the right to charge more if travel to a client becomes an issue. As before, fees for services are due at the time services commence; new clients may be asked for a 50%, non-refundable deposit at the time a booking is made, especially between Memorial Day to Labor Day, & during the winter holiday season, Thanksgiving to New Year's.
Hours of operation: In an effort to accommodate our neighbors, Happy Puppy Spa is now open for business from 8:30a.m. — 5:30p.m., 7 days a week. If you have a special need, drop-offs or pick-ups may happen as late in the evening as 7:30p.m., but such arrangements need to be made in advance, preferably at the time the booking is made. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance for walks & daycare, & at least a week in advance for overnight bookings to avoid being charged for the reserved time.
Cat Care: Our cat care rates remain the same — i.e., local care for up to 3 cats is $15.00/day (feeding & cleaning the box daily); non-local care for up to 3 cats is $15.00/visit; & special services (hydration or similar) is $10.00/service.
